SEVEN DAYS OF HEROIN:
THIS IS WHAT AN EPIDEMIC
LOOKS LIKE

In the next seven days of the heroin epidemic, at least 180 people in Greater Cincinnati will overdose and 18 will die. Babies will be born to addicted mothers. Parents will go to jail. Children will end up in foster care. This is normal now. Published Sept. 10, 2017. Producer, cinematographer and editor. The photo staff of the Cincinnati Enquirer took one week in July to cover the heroin epidemic. Cochran organized, directed and edited dozens of hours of footage to create this 30-minute documentary, which published two months after it was shot.
